A Little About Me...
I earned a BS in Secondary Education Social Studies from West Virginia University in May 1995. I spent the next four years working with middle school aged students in a residential treatment center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. During that time I earned a masters degree from West Virginia University in Special Education with an emphasis in behavioral and emotional disorders. I spent 2 years working at Shady Grove Middle School in the ED Cluster model program where I taught math and social studies. I came to Frederick County to teach at Ballenger Creek Middle School as a special education teacher.
This is my 6th year at Spring Ridge Elementary as a school support and math teacher.
I am currently completing my administration degree from Hood College and will graduate in May 2010.
I have been married for 14 years and live in Lake Linganore with my husband and 2 daughters. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends at the beach, camping, and cheering at the girls sporting events. I also enjoy reading and scrapbooking.
